I’ll be the first to admit it—I’ve seen better days. I’m a single-level, 3-bedroom, 1-bath home that once held promise but now find myself in desperate need of a full makeover. My two living rooms have hosted plenty of memories, though my walls could use more than just a fresh coat of paint to bring them back to life. My eat-in kitchen was once the heart of the house, but let’s just say it could use a new heartbeat. Outside, I do offer a covered porch where you can picture yourself enjoying the fresh air, though the dilapidated garage with its makeshift carport is probably more comic relief than practical shelter. I sit on a 1-acre lot, close enough to the road to make me convenient but not exactly secluded. What I lack in polish, I make up for in location—just 1.8 miles away is Corinth’s Northeast Slopes, a community ski hill with 36 acres of terrain, rope tows, and a cozy base lodge. So, if you’ve got vision, tools, and determination, I’m ready to shed my tired look and become something worth bragging about again. After all, every diamond starts as a rough stone—and I’m about as rough as they come.
