Newfound Lake is the third largest in the State at 4,451 acres and is located in the northwest corner of the Lakes Region in the towns of Alexandria, Bridgewater, Bristol and Hebron. Wellington State Park is the largest freshwater beach in the New Hampshire state park system and is on the west shore. Fishing is good with 22 different species. The Newfound Lake Region Association is a non profits who's mission is to protect the lake and its watershed.
