Bears, moose, eagles, fish, wildflowers, and 'first vote in the nation' site, Dixville Notch. Characterized by rugged and knowledgeable fly-fishing, hunting and hiking guides, much of this region is open for recreational use, including the largest snowmobile trail system in the Northeast (part of the state's 6,000 mile network of snowmobile trails.)
